Solution Follow this procedure to convert a file to a different file type in the Sony Digital Voice Editor 2 software.

1. In the Digital Voice Editor window, click to select the desired file to convert.
2. Right Click on the file
3. Click "Convert File format"
4. Under "Save in" Click "browse" to select the location (folder / file name) you would like to save the file to
5. Under "Save as type" click the down arrow
6. Click to select the desired file format.
7. Click the Convert button.

Or

1. In the Digital Voice Editor window, click to select the desired file to convert.
2. On the menu bar, click Tool.
3. In the Tool menu, click Options.
4. In the Options window, click the Codec tab.
5. On the Codec tab, in the Save on the PC box, click to select Covert into the following file format and save.
6. Under Convert into the following file format and save, click the down arrow.
7. Click to select the desired file format.
8. Click the OK button.
